I have liked watching Constance Wu since I first saw her on Fresh Off the Boat. 
I don’t watch the show regularly, but it is always a joy whenever I happen to catch a few scenes here and there. 
It was with that same enthusiasm that I entered the theater Friday night to watch Crazy Rich Asians. 
It was a very romantic movie. A very, very romantic movie. Sorry, did I mention it was romantic?
There is something so wow-some about a relationship where there is an inequality in almost everything but love, and that love is able to conquer all. Kind of reminds me of God’s love. 
And that wedding scene y’all? I melted into a puddle of “awws” and “oh wows.” 

Overall outlook: some of the acting was a little overboard for my taste, but all in all, it was the fun feel-good-Cinderalla-type movie that we all know and love.
